Obituary of Velma Mae Hash

Velma Mae Hash, age 96, lifelong Coweta resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. She was born on January 14, 1921 to G.D. "Dude" and Hester (Cobb) Replogle in Wagoner County, OK. Velma and Allen Hash were married on October 22, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She worked at Coweta Public Schools as a cook, Coweta Manor Nursing Home as a technician and she was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family. Velma was a member of the Coweta Assembly of God. She enjoyed doing word searches, embroidery work and working and being outdoors. Velma was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hash, her parents, G.D. "Dude" and Hester Replogle, 2 sisters, Dorothy Hash and Pauline Edwards, 3 brothers, Walter Replogle, Orval Replogle and Robert Replogle, 1 brother-in-law, CD Pearson and 1 sister-in-law, Vivian Replogle. Velma is survived by 2 brothers, Chike Replogle of Wagoner, OK and Russell Replogle and wife, Dollie of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 sisters, Violet Pearson of Coweta, OK and Faye Runnels and husband, John of Coweta, OK; a special nephew and niece, Roy and Nancy Ward; and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Viewing for Velma will be from 2-6 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Velma's life will be at 10 AM on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Jack Replogle, Mickey Replogle, Dennis Hash, Jimmy Edwards, Danny Pearson, Walt Replogle, Lucas Ward and Austin Ward.
