A special lady that I was honored to work with at the school for a number of years. She never forgot a name and had a smile for everyone she met. Just a fun person to be around and enjoyed our visits whenever our paths crossed. Always one funny lady with a lot of laughter to share.

I will miss visiting with Velma at church, and her sweet smiling face. She was always full of joy and energy. I can still see her walking around the track field everyday as I took my grandchildren to school. There will be a big hole here now that she is gone, but a blessed addition to her new home in Heaven. She was a special lady! And I was blessed to know her!
