John was a fantastic person and great motorcycle rider and mechanic !
I first met this fine young man in Surrey Hills with his cousin- his dad lived across the street from me and that’s how I met John.
I was not friends with John later in life but always asked about him when speaking with his dad .
I remember the story of his dad telling me he was kissing on a girl in his baby blue Lincoln and had a wreck that altered his life -but - he still troopers through and his dad was always so proud of him .

When I think of John........I always think of his smile & his kindness. He was a friend to everyone. I'm so sorry for your loss & pray that God gives you peace & strength.
i knew JOHN COWDEN about 25 years as a friend he always had a smile, we enjoyed riding motorcycles together,his death was a shock to me my condolences to all that knew him
So sorry for your loss! I remember when John had his accident in high school. I spent many hours sitting with him and mentoring him throughout the remainder of school. I have very fond memories of John and will always remember him. Prayers of comfort and peace to the family.
