Obituary of Shawna Pauline Collins

Shawna Pauline Collins, age 56, of Broken Arrow passed away on Thursday morning, November 5, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Shawna was born on January 10, 1959 to Thelma Pauline Forbes and James D. Vandiver in Upland, CA. She worked at Dish as a Customer Service Representative for several years. She enjoyed playing on the computer, playing bingo and hanging out with her friends. Shawna was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Dawn Graves. Shawna is survived by her father, Jim D. Vandiver of Broken Arrow, OK; her mother, Thelma Pauline Forbes of Broken Arrow, OK; 2 sons, Jimmy Joe Bennett of Broken Arrow, OK and Douglas James Bennett of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 sister, Bunnie Chapman and husband, Todd of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Ronnie Vandiver and wife, Suzie of Moncks Corner, SC and Randall Vandiver of Broken Arrow, OK; 7 grandchildren, James, Jerrod, Jaxson, Jonathan, Alyssa, MaKenzie and Avah; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Viewing will be from 1-6 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. A graveside service celebrating Shawna's life will be at 2 PM on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, OK with Pastor Jim Bias officiating.
