Shawna and I had some fun times when we were neighbors and played together. I have many memories with her and her family. My regret was not seeing her after we got older but was thankful that we kept in touch on Facebook. Go rest high in the Heavenly Mountains, Shawna, and rejoice in life there.

if you were to look up Shawna in a lifes dictionary it would say.....she had a smile that could light up a room. No matter what she was going through she maintained her smile, her grace, and her sense of humor. No matter what was going on she always told me....tomorrow will be better. And now, all her tomorrows are indeed better forever and ever. I love you Shawna, i hope you truly knew that!

Shawna, you were such a sweet girl and good friend in Jr. High @ Central. Our family moved away after 9th grade so we lost touch. I was so glad that we were able to reconnect after so long a few years back. Seems we were able to just pick up where we left off, only with 40+ years added to our lives. We've had some really great times since then at our classmate gatherings. We could laugh for hours at just about anything. You were an angel here on earth just as you are now in Heaven but with wings... I know you're happy to be with Melissa and all your friends are happy for this, but we are sad that you are gone. That's just the greed in us. I've always said that my only saving grace is knowing that I'll see you again on the other side in God's timing. Your time was too short and only He knows the reasons why. We'll know when we get there. Love you forever and I will miss you everyday, girl..
