Obituary of Patricia Davis
Patricia Ann Davis, age 61, of Porter departed this life on Friday evening, July 26, 2008 at Muskogee Regional Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Patricia was born on May 14, 1947 in Tontitown, Arkansas to Henry and Jimmie (Robinds) Mashburn. She attended Haskell Public Schools. Patricia and G.W. Davis, Jr. were united in marriage on August 13, 1979 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. In 2004, she and G.W. moved to Porter, Oklahoma from Bixby, Oklahoma. Patricia was a homemaker for most of her life. Her hobbies included quilting, gardening, and she was an avid reader. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her. Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband of 28 years, G.W. Davis of the home; her two sons, Jimmie Cagle and his wife, Brenda, of Keefeton, Oklahoma and Tony Davis and his wife, Debbie, of Porter, Oklahoma; her four daughters, Belinda Wheat of Haskell, Oklahoma, Fran Russell and her husband, Kenny, of Coweta, Oklahoma, Sonya Dunn and her husband, Aaron, of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Connie Anderson and her husband, Tom, of Mounds, Oklahoma; her three brothers, James Mashburn, Jerry Mashburn, and Ed Mashburn, all of Porter, Oklahoma; her two sisters, Francis Main of Springdale, Arkansas and Lo Dean Prim of Lowell, Arkansas; 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Ronnie Davis, two brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Towne and Country Christian Church in Coweta with Rev. Randy Shaddox officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta.
