Obituary of Larry Sisney

Larry Dean Sisney, age 58, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Larry was born on January 27, 1950 in Coweta, Oklahoma to Hershel and Estelene (Gilbert) Sisney. He received his education and graduated from high school in the Broken Arrow school system. Larry and Donna G. Evans were united in marriage on June 25, 1969 in Coweta, Oklahoma. Larry worked as a self-employed tree trimmer for 32 years. His hobbies included antiquing, fishing, hunting, and horse trading. Survivors include two sons, Michael Dean Sisney of Gastonia, North Carolina and Robert Dewayne Sisney of Joliet, Montana; one daughter, LaDonna Gayle Sisney of Gastonia, North Carolina; his parents, Hershel and Estelene Sisney of Coweta, Oklahoma; one brother, Tony Sisney of Coweta, Oklahoma; one sister, Brenda Riley of Coweta, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Dean Sisney. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 at Healing Waters Church in Haskell, Oklahoma with Rev. Willie Gilbert and Rev. Kelly Gilbert officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.
