Obituary of Joan Kellar

Joan A. Kellar, age 70, of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at her home. Joan was born on November 23, 1937 in Fulton, New York to Charles E. and Ellen (Walters) Fancett. She received her education in the Fulton, New York school system and graduated from high school in 1954. Joan and Robert W. Kellar were united in marriage on October 31, 1970 in Coweta, Oklahoma. Joan worked at Easy Mart Convenience Store as the manager for fifteen years until her retirement in 2002. Her hobbies included playing bingo, crocheting, bowling, fishing, and camping. Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; four sons, Gordon Gregory and his wife, Brenda, of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Ted Kellar and his wife, Robin, of Coweta, Oklahoma, David Kellar of Naples, Florida, and Kelly Kellar and his wife, Lisa, of Coweta, Oklahoma; two daughters, Sandy Thomasson and her husband, John, of Coweta, Oklahoma and Joan Holcome and her husband, Jason, of Naples, Florida; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, and two brothers. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home.
