Obituary of Linda Shepherd

Linda Kay Shepherd, age 54, of Pryor, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Missouri. Linda was born on May 16, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Marvin R. and Frankie C. (Hughes) Shepherd. She received her education at the Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Linda was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed playing with her toys. Linda is survived by her father, Marvin Shepherd of Pryor, Oklahoma; her aunt, Maxine Mills of Louisiana; and two cousins. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Frankie C. (Hughes) Shepherd. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007 at New Bethel Assembly of God Church in Coweta, Oklahoma with Rev. Don Whitby officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Arrangements and services are under the direction of Wright Funeral Home in Coweta.
