Obituary of Larry Dean Ragland

Larry Dean Ragland, age 72, of Tulsa passed away on Monday morning, March 27, 2017 at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. Larry was born on July 26, 1944 to Arley Burl and Pauline (McKissack) Ragland in Fort Logan, CO. He was a graduate of Dewey High School in Dewey, OK. Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1965 to 1967. He worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Boeing Aircraft in Tulsa, OK for 42 years until he retired. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting and gardening. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Arlin Ragland. Larry is survived by his companion, Carol Perigo of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 son, Jon Harmon and wife, Marla of Coweta, OK; 1 step-son, Kelly Walker; 3 grandchildren, Cody Harmon and fiancé (Jessica Kilgore), Chase Harmon and wife (Sierra) and Cacy Jo Harmon; 1 great grandson, Cooper Harmon; and other relatives and friends. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Services celebrating Larry's life will be at 12 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Max Ford officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Pallbearers are Cody Harmon, Chase Harmon, Tony Perigo, Jack Perigo, Jerry Fugitt and Billy Barger.
