Obituary of Tommy Wayne Drywater

Tommy Wayne Drywater, age 50, lifelong resident of Coweta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017 at his home in Coweta, OK. Tommy was born on May 12, 1966 to Stanley Drywater and Joy (Allison) Carver in Tulsa, OK. He was a graduate of Coweta High School. Tommy loved God and attending church at Coweta Assembly of God. He also loved visiting with people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed walking around town, playing with the kids, watching Andy Griffith, singing and spending time with his family. Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Custer Danny Allison, paternal grandparents, Dave and Jennie Drywater and a stillborn brother, Dwayne Drywater. Tommy is survived by his mother and step-father, Joy and Johnny Carver of Coweta, OK; his father and step-mother, Stanley and Marvene Drywater of Wagoner, OK; his maternal grandmother, Fannie Allison of Coweta, OK; 3 sisters, Kathy Day and husband, John of Coweta, OK, Sandra Burkett and husband, Chris of Coweta, OK and Christie Turner and fiancé, Jeff Stuck of Coweta, OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Viewing will be from 10 AM - 8 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. Services celebrating Tommy's life will be at 2 PM on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Steve Lee officiating and Pastor Dustin Ullrich assisting. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Jerrid Burkett, Stanley Burkett, Donnie Steelman, Jeff Stuck, Clayton Christmas and John Turner.
