Obituary of David Thomas Beck

David Thomas Beck, age 84, resident of Coweta passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 in Batesville, AR. David was born on September 30, 1932 to William F. and Vera (Wilkins) Beck in Encino, NM. He and Betty Sue (VanLiew) Beck were married on February 15, 1952 and she preceded him in death on January 15, 2017. David was a Petroleum Engineer and was owner of a drilling company until retirement. He was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church in Coweta. He enjoyed Sudoku, crossword puzzles and reading. David was preceded in death by wife, Betty Beck, his parents, 1 brother, Clifford Reeves, 1 sister, Betty June Davidson, 1 grandson, Toeper Dwain Magby and his step-mom, Ruby Beck. David is survived by 1 daughter, Deborah Kay Donley and husband, Donnie of Coweta, OK; 1 son, Dennis Ray Beck and wife, Susan of Batesville, AR; 2 sisters, Colleen Hamilton and husband, James of Roswell, NM and Louise Harrison of Albuquerque, NM; 6 grandchildren, Mandie Browning, Rachel Dragony, Jason Beck, Daniel Beck (Jenny), Devin Donley (Catey) and Jerard Magby (Jennifer); 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
