Obituary of Sharon Irma Hopf
Sharon Irma Hopf, age 76, resident of Coweta passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. Sharon was born on July 24, 1940 to Lloyd Earl and Irma Adelia (Abel) Johnson in Excelsior, MN. She and Thomas Dexter Hopf were married on June 24, 1957. Sharon along with her husband owned and operated a hotel. She was also a seamstress. She was a member of Living Stone Teaching Church in Coweta. Sharon loved ministering to people and was a youth minister at Rhema Bible Church. She enjoyed flowers, reading, being outdoors and she loved family gatherings. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Dexter Hopf on December 2, 1997, her parents and her grandson, Shawn Smith. Sharon is lovingly survived by 2 daughters, Colette Langford and husband, Brad Henderson of Broken Arrow, OK and Natalie Milazzo and husband, Mike of Topeka, KS; 3 sisters, Sandra Holden, Susan Berg and Shirley Garcia; 5 grandchildren, Sari Smith, Amy Smith, Andrew Langford, Michael Milazzo and Josef Milazzo; 4 great grandchildren, Trent Smith, Drake Smith, Orlando Caba and Hannah Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services celebrating Sharon's life will be at 4 PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Living Stone Teaching Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Manard Grant and Carl McKittrick officiating. Viewing will be from 3-4 PM before the service. Burial will be at 12 PM on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Pallbearers are Brad Henderson, Mike Milazzo, Andy Langford, Caleb Milazzo and Josef Milazzo.
