Obituary of Carole Maxine Winnett

Carole Maxine Winnett, age 70, of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, January 26, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Carole was born on February 5, 1946 to Samuel Theodore and Ida Maxine (Blakemore) Spradlin in Quero, TX. She was a 1964 graduate of Edison High School in Tulsa, OK. Carole married Larry Frank Winnett on August 20, 1971 in McAlester, OK. She was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family. Carole was a member of Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting, painting, sewing, designing, watching HGTV, watching Dallas Cowboys football and designing, decorating and remodeling homes. Carole was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Samuel Wess "Sam" Winnett. Carole is lovingly survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Frank Winnett of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; 3 children, James Robert "Bobby" Winnett and wife, Kimberly of Overland Park, KS, Stephanie Blake Kinnear and husband, Brian of Broken Arrow, OK and Christopher Douglas "Doug" Winnett and wife, Tori of Tulsa, OK; 1 brother, Ronald T. Spradlin and wife, Terry of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Donna C. Callaghan and husband, Mike of Owasso, OK; 10 grandchildren, Paige, Luke, Hannah, Joseph, Jessica, Rachel, Cole, Mary, Presley and Austin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Viewing with the family present will be from 4-6 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Carole's life will be at 1 PM on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Bill Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Jay Jackson, Joseph McKinzie, Luke Winnett, Cole Winnett, Mike Freeman and Michael Spradlin.
