Obituary of Margie J. Haugh

Margie J. Haugh, age 81 of Tulsa, OK died Monday, January 23, 2017. Margie was born January 24, 1935 to Cecil & Opal McKinney of Titusville, PA. Margie was preceded in death by her brother’s Robert McKinney, Thomas McKinney and sister’s Dora Boyland and Mary Gearhart. Margie graduated high school from North Windham, ME in 1953. After returning to Pennsylvania, Margie met Bartlett E. Haugh of Grand Valley, PA. In January 1954 Bartlett returned from the Korean War, they courted for a short time and they were wed on July 31st 1954. Margie was a loving wife, mother and friend she spent her life caring for everyone she met. She loved flowers, birds and animals especially horses. When the weather was temperate enough she loved spending time outside. Margie J. Haugh is also preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Ann of Dempsytown, PA; grandson, Aaron Michael Haugh of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter, Melissa Jane Haugh of Franklin, PA. Surviving family members are Bartlett E. Haugh, spouse, of Tulsa, OK; Edward and Pamela Haugh of Oil City, PA; Roger and Karen Haugh of Shippenville, PA; Robert and Tamela Haugh of Oklahoma City, OK. There are also 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Margie J. Haugh will be missed by all those who loved her. She was well loved by so many people from her church family to her neighbors. The family asks that in lieu of flowers if you would like to make a donation to the American Heart Association in tribute under the name of Margie Haugh. A memorial service celebrating Margie’s life will be at 2 PM on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Tom Dillingham officiating.
