Obituary of Imogene Harp

Imogene Harp, age 89, resident of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, November 29, 2016 in Broken Arrow, OK. Imogene was born on September 7, 1927 to Rector and Sarah (Patterson) Douglas in Mulberry, AR. When she was 1 month old they moved to Broken Arrow, OK. On February 28, 1942, Imogene married Arlie Harp and they had 3 children, Jerry Harp, Delores Harp Billue and Kathy Harp Meadows. She was a devoted homemaker who loved caring for her family. Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie of 45 years, her parents, 1 son, Jerry, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. Imogene is survived by 2 daughters, Delores Billue and husband, Bob of Broken Arrow, OK and Kathy Meadows of Coweta, OK; 4 granddaughters, Candy Billue and David Barnes of Sugarland, TX, Missy Benton and husband, Kevin of Broken Arrow, OK, Mindy Foster and husband, Elmer of Coweta, OK and Lorie Phillips and husband, Keith of Coweta, OK; 3 great granddaughters, Kristin Stilwell of Broken Arrow, OK, Mandy Blair of Tahlequah, OK and Brittany Phillips of Coweta, OK; 2 great grandsons, Mattrick Blair of Coweta, OK and Mason Blair of Coweta, OK; extended grandkids and great grandkids, Amanda, Charlie, Lyndsey, Wyatt, Clay, JoCee Burke and Andrea, Korbyn Foster all of Wagoner, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the funeral home with the family present from 5-8 PM. Services celebrating Imogene's life will be at 1 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, OK with Pastor Charlie Levi officiating. Burial will follow in Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Pallbearers are Mattrick Blair, Mason Blair, Keith Phillips, David Barnes, Kevin Benton and Randy Poplin.
