Obituary of Ramona Ruth Livesay

Ramona Ruth Livesay, age 82, of Porter, OK passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, November 3, 2016 at Forest Hills Care Center in Broken Arrow, OK. Ramona was born on December 22, 1933 to Frederick "Jack" Andrew and Elizabeth Eleanor "Elnora" (Benge) Wagnon in Muskogee, OK. She married William "Bill" Woodward and they separated. Ramona then married David Livesay on January 9, 1979 and he preceded her in death in 2013. She helped work and manage Livesay Orchards until her retirement. Ramona was a member of the First Baptist Church in Porter. Ramona is survived by 2 sons, Tony Woodward and wife, Mary Ann of Tulsa, OK and Jon Woodward and wife, Donnita of Columbia, MO; 2 step-sons, Kent Livesay and wife, Dawna of Porter, OK and Steve Livesay and wife, Brenda of Porter, OK; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Woodward, Melanie Warren, Brian Livesay, Kyle Livesay, Nathan Livesay and Jordan Eckland; and numerous other relatives and friends. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Livesay, 1 daughter, Mona Ann Woodward and 1 sister, Josephine Cowan. Viewing will be from 2-8 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Ramona's life will be at 2 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Porter, OK with Rev. Dennis Piearcy officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Porter, OK. Pallbearers are Brian Livesay, Kyle Livesay, Nathan Livesay, Kent Livesay, Steve Livesay and Jon Woodward.
