Obituary of Sandra Gail Bryan

Sandra Gail Bryan, age 76, of Broken Arrow went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully in the early hours on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her home in Broken Arrow, OK. Sandra was born on September 17, 1940 to William "Bill" and Modean (Cherry) Ezell in Broken Arrow, OK. Sandra was a 1958 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She and Bobby Wayne "Jack" Bryan were married on June 5, 1958 in Broken Arrow. Sandra worked at the Wagoner County Assessor's Office for many years. She was the Wagoner County Assessor until she retired in 2002. After retiring, she was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. Sandra was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church in Broken Arrow. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, bowling and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, Jack Bryan, her parents, Bill and Modean Ezell and 1 son, Ricky Bryan. Sandra is survived by 1 daughter, Terri Pearcy and husband, Gene of Benedict, KS; 2 sons, Mitch Bryan and wife, Leanne of Norman, OK and Steve Bryan and wife, Cheryl of Coweta, OK; 1 daughter-in-law, Shelby Bryan of Coweta, OK; 5 brothers, Paul Ezell and wife, Janell of Broken Arrow, OK, Jerry Ezell and wife, Betty of Hulbert, OK, Phillip Ezell and wife, Linda of Porter, OK, Mike Ezell and wife, Diane of Coweta, OK and Jimmy Calicoat and wife, Wendy of Firth, NE; 2 sisters, Karen Sue "Sissy" Cobelentz of Coweta, OK and Patricia Clyma of Coweta, OK; 9 grandchildren, Brad Bryan, Lynsey Van Holt, Bryan Burton, Sarah Pearcy, Candy Matthews, Andrea Conroy, Kristin Bell, Michael Bryan and Jenni Bryan; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Services celebrating Sandra's life will be at 10 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK with Rev. Roland Whitehurst officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow. Pallbearers are Brad Bryan, Bryan Burton, Michael Bryan, Ron Bell, Tim Conroy and Erich Von Holt.
