Obituary of Pat Ann Looper

Patricia Ann "Pat" Looper, age 80, of Coweta was born on August 6, 1936 in Toledo, OH to Stan and Pansy Edith (Kelly) Warnke. Pat passed away on Thursday evening, August 25, 2016 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. In 1983, she and Don Elmer Looper were married in Coweta, OK. She was co-owner of The Watering Hole Bar in Coweta until she retired. Pat was also a homemaker who loved caring for her family. She enjoyed going on trips to Branson and Tunica and shopping for Coach purses. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Jim Fury and Gary Fury, 1 daughter, Ann Robinson and 1 step-son, Danny Looper. Pat is survived by her husband of 32 years, Don Elmer Looper of the home in Coweta, OK; 6 daughters, Judy Joice of Coweta, OK, Debbie Fury of Coweta, OK, Sandy Craighton of Coweta, OK, Barbara Baucom of Broken Arrow, OK, Dawn Fine of Chouteau, OK and Becky Fairchild of Coweta, OK; 3 step-children, Dale Looper, Deanna Curtis and Dawn Miller, all of Coweta, OK; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services celebrating Pat's life will be at 2 PM on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Allan Swinson officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Justin Joice, Josh Fury, Mike Fury, Aaron Thomas, Adam Fine and Jordan Looper. Honorary Pallbearers are Malachi Fury and Issac Fury.
