Obituary of Rodney DeVone Wilson
On July 30th, 1966, Leora and Woodrow Wilson were blessed with a handsome baby boy. They named him Rodney DeVone.
Rodney attended Haskell High School and graudated in 1983.
He lived in Haskell, OK for most of his life and moved to Coweta, OK in 2000. No children were born to his union.
Rodney worked at Continental Paper Company in Muskogee, OK as a Machinist. As a young adult, Rodney loved reading stories, being with family and friends, telling childhood stories and playing dominoes and basketball.
Rodney was never married and his nieces and nephews were his children and he treated them all the same.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Lenora Wilson, 4 brothers, Mitchell Wilson, Calvin Wilson, Leodist "Joe" Wilson (Rose) and Wesley Wilson (Renita) and 2 sisters, Floreen Jameson (James) and Marzella Wilson.
Rodney leaves to cherish his memory, 2 sisters, Betty Landrum (Preston) of Phoenix, AZ and Ladonna (Moore) Wayne of Phoenix, AZ; 7 brothers, Benjamin Wilson of Muskogee, OK, Carl Wilson of Houston, TX, Noble Wilson (Alfreta) of Houston, TX, Ulysses Wilson III of Haskell, OK, Larry Wilson (Donna) of Tulsa, OK, Kenneth Wilson of Tulsa, OK, Timothy Wilson (Bernita Kaye) of Coweta, OK; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, childhood cousins and friends.
