Obituary of Eileen Elizabeth Swanson

Eileen Elizabeth Swanson, age 90, resident of Coweta passed away on Monday morning, June 6, 2016 at Cedarcrest Care Center in Broken Arrow, OK. Eileen was born on October 26, 1925 in Manchester, ND to Lester and Iva Cedar. She married Charles Elmer Swanson on April 18, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA and he preceded her in death on February 22, 2015. Eileen was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed grocery shopping and garage saleing. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Joyce Labria. Eileen is survived by 1 son, Kevin Swanson and wife, Linda of Coweta, OK; 3 grandchildren, Terrell, Tiffany and Skylar; 3 great grandchildren, L.T., Noah and Bentley; and numerous other relatives. A graveside service celebrating Eileen's life will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Chaplain Randy Shaddox of Hometown Hospice officiating.
