Obituary of Charles Franklin Lee

Charles Franklin Lee, age 84, resident of Coweta passed away on Sunday evening, May 22, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospital in Muskogee, OK. Charles was born on May 17, 1932 to George Franklin and Gladys Irene (Dickerson) Lee in Coffeyville, KS. He was a truck driver for most of his life until he retired. In 1998, he married Oma Marie Hand-Lee in Coweta, OK. Charles enjoyed working puzzles and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his sister, Alice Mackievicz, his brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Geraldine Lee, his brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Ernestine Lee, his sister-in-law, Janice Lee, his niece, Debra Lewis and his nephew, Kenneth Lee Jr. Charles is survived by 1 brother, Frank O. Lee of Wichita, KS; 2 sisters, Juanita Craig of Brentwood, CA and Della Davidson of Altamonte, KS; nieces, Tenna Hopkins, Radina Henson, Carmetta Overman, Denise, Gayle, Debbie Thogersen, Linda Beeman, Shawn Allen and Sonja Lee; nephews, Rodney Lee, Richard E. Lee, Raymond E. Lee, Jeff Lee, Kevin Lee, Burl Davidson, Cecil Davidson and Alvin Davidson; 2 stepchildren, Tommy and Sandra Miller and Marvin Hand; 1 granddaughter, Laretta Rundall; 3 great-grandchildren, Rusty Rundall, Cierra Rundall, and Andrew Zester; 4 step-grandchildren, Melissa, Dustin, April, and Laura and numerous cousins and other relatives. Viewing for Charles will be from 10 AM-6 PM on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Shahan Cemetery in Coweta, OK with Rev. Lynn Moss officiating.
