Obituary of Deanna L. Underwood

Deanna L. Underwood, age 75, of Coweta was born on July 24, 1940 to Arthur W. and Syble F. (Isaacs) Jones in Ada, Okla. Deanna passed away on Wednesday morning, May 18, 2016 at Broken Arrow Nursing Home in Broken Arrow, Okla. She married Gene E. Underwood on November 11, 1977 in Miami, Okla. and he preceded her in death in 1991. Deanna worked at Arkansas Valley State Bank in Loan Documentation for 15 years. She was a member of the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy. Deanna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 1 brother, 1 niece and 1 nephew. Deanna is survived by 1 sister, Mary Lou Sparks and husband, Lonnie of Coweta, Okla.; 2 nephews, Brian Sparks and Kevin Sparks; and other relatives and friends. Services celebrating Deanna's life will be at 2 PM on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Okla. with Clive Jared officiating.
