Obituary of Ellen Kathleen Jarman

Ellen Kathleen "Kathy" Jarman, age 72, of Broken Arrow was born on March 24, 1944 to Z.A. and LeVaun (Curnutt) Woods in Higginsville, Mo. Kathy passed away on Wednesday evening, May 11, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Okla. with her family at her side. She worked as a Nanny and Certified Nurse Assistant until she retired. She enjoyed dancing, watching old movies and TV, listening to music, but most of all she loved spending time with all of her grandchildren. Kathy is survived by her mother, LeVaun Woods of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 4 children, Lisa Nichols and husband, Steve of Mounds, Okla., Donnie Jarman of Coweta, Okla., Eddie Jarman of Grove, Okla. and Scott Jarman and wife, LeAnn of Coweta, Okla.; 1 sister, Connie Robinson of Coweta, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Kathy was preceded her in death by her father, Z.A. Woods and 1 brother, Donald Woods. Viewing will be from 12-6 PM on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family present from 2-4 PM. Services celebrating Kathy's life will be at 2 PM on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Okla. with Chaplain John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Okla. Pallbearers are Tyler Jarman, Cole Jarman, Eddie Geneva, Chris Clayton, Josh Robinson, Rob Hill and Chris Wilson.
