Obituary of Betty Jo Bixler

Betty Jo Bixler, age 62, of Coweta, Okla. was born on January 25, 1954 to Bobby Dean and Wanda Marie (Bowers) Woodward in Coweta, Okla. Betty Jo passed away on Tuesday morning, May 10, 2016 at her home in Coweta, Okla. Betty Jo was a 1972 graduate of Coweta High School. She and Clarence V. "Butch" Bixler were married on May 26, 1988 in El Paso, Tex. Betty Jo worked at Pipeline Industry Benefit Fund as a Claims Coordinator for 27 years. Betty Jo enjoyed reading, shopping and she loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Betty Jo is survived by her husband, Clarence V. "Butch" Bixler of the home in Coweta, Okla.; her mother, Wanda M. "Betty" Adams of Coweta, Okla.; 3 children, Michael Gwyn and wife, Jacquie of Coweta, Okla., Larry McClain of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Amber Frost and husband, Greg of Clearwater, Kans.; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 1 great granddaughter on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Dean Woodward and her step-father, Samuel Adams. A memorial service celebrating Betty Jo's life will be at 10 AM on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta, Okla. with Rev. David Jones officiating.
