Obituary of Billie J. Walker

Billie J. Walker, age 80, resident of Porter passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 30, 2016 at Eastar Health System in Muskogee, Okla. Billie was born on April 25, 1935 to Henry and Iva (Moses) Dean in Haskell, Tex. She and Arnold D. Walker were married on August 29, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2014. Billie was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, watching westerns and she loved taking care of her animals. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Walker, her parents, Henry and Iva Dean and 1 brother, Mack Dean. Billie is survived by 1 son, Henry Stahl of Drumright, Okla.; 1 sister, Sally Mapes of Haskell, Okla.; 1 brother, Benny Dean and wife, Lynda of Porter, Okla.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 7 PM on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating the life of Billie will be at 10 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Okla. with Henry Stahl officiating.
