Obituary of Matthew G. Burris

Matthew G. Burris, age 27, was born on November 9, 1988 in Broken Arrow, Okla. Matthew went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Okla. He was a graduate from Muskogee Public Schools. Matthew loved spiderman, superheroes, watching movies and he enjoyed playing with remote control cars. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Mayberry. Matthew is lovingly survived by his mother, Cheryl Mayberry; 2 sisters, Ashley Hammit and Tabatha Burris; 2 brothers, Bobby Hammit and Richard Hammit; his grandpa, Richard Mayberry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Services celebrating Matthew's life will be at 2 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Okla. with Pastor Bryan Hill officiating.
