Obituary of Joyce Ann Thomas

Joyce Ann Thomas, age 67, of Broken Arrow was born on August 25, 1948 in Claremore, Okla. to Robert Miller, Sr. and Rachel (Reed) Miller. She married Phillip Arthur Thomas on May 26, 1972 and together they had 2 children, Suzanne and Richard. Joyce passed away on Monday afternoon, January 25, 2016 at her home in Broken Arrow, Okla. surrounded by her family. Joyce was a graduate of Coweta High School. She worked at Praxair, Inc. as an assembly worker. She was a member of the Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Coweta. Joyce is lovingly survived by her husband of 43 years, Phillip Thomas of the home in Broken Arrow, Okla.; 2 children, Suzanne Fox and husband, Bill of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Richard Thomas of Broken Arrow, Okla.; 4 sisters, Dorothy Sawyer, Wilma Berryhill and husband, Richard, Eva Gay and husband, Dwain and Mary Clark, all of Coweta, Okla.; 2 brothers, Chebon Miller and wife, Ernestine and Eugene Miller and wife, Erna, all of Coweta, Okla.; 1 grandson, Aaron Fox; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Robert Miller, Jr. Viewing for Joyce will be from 2-8 PM on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Joyce's life will be at 2 PM on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church in Coweta, Okla. with Pastor Bert Robison officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are Robert Gay, Chebon Miller, Dwight Gay, Little John Miller, Cory Miller and Brandon Walker.
