Obituary of Barbara Jean Munn

Barbara Jean Munn, age 83, resident of Coweta, Okla. was born on March 16, 1932 to Tom and Edna (Comstock) Shinaberger in Tieton, Wash. She married the love of her life, James Vance Munn, Jr. in 1956 in Las Vegas, Nev. Barbara passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Okla. Barbara enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, traveling and taking care of her family. She worked as a Medical Secretary for Dr. Leonard Brown until she retired. Barbara is lovingly survived by her husband of 59 years, James Vance Munn, Jr. of Coweta, Okla.; 2 daughters, Linda Durkin and husband, Tony of Coweta, Okla. and Annetta Scott of Coweta, Okla.; 1 son, Steven Adams of Calif.; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother. A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be at 2 PM on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Quinton Cemetery in Quinton, Okla.
