Obituary of Wanda Lee Woodward

Wanda Lee Woodward, age 75, longtime resident of Coweta passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, December 27, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, OK.. Wanda was born on March 23, 1940 to Earl James and Audrey Fern (Friend) Easley in Wagoner County, OK. She was a 1958 graduate of Coweta High School. Wanda was a Beautician for 37 years. She married Roy Gerald Woodward on July 26, 1957 in Coweta, OK. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchilden and competing with them in fishing and winning, camping, quilting, crocheting, traveling to Colorado, flowers and working in the yard. Wanda was active and enjoyed cooking for the Youth Bowfishing Association. She was a 1957-58 All State Basketball Champion. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents. Wanda is lovingly survived by her husband, Roy Woodward of the home in Coweta, OK; 1 son, Randy Woodward and wife, Debbie of Coweta, OK; 1 daughter, Brenda Terry and husband, Terence of Coweta, OK; 1 sister, Christine Todd and husband, Ronald of Coweta, OK; 1 brother, Delmar Easley of Coweta, OK; 5 grandchildren, Jamie Shieldnight, Brian Woodward, Justin Terry, Josh Terry and Jeff Terry; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 2 PM - 8 PM on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Wanda's life will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Rev. Brody Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Brian Woodward, Justin Terry, Josh Terry, Jeff Terry, Rex Shieldnight and Matt Glass. Honorary Pallbearers are Jim McDuffy, Russell Gadlage, Jack Swarer, Johnny Swarer, Jackie Swarer and Mike Foster.
