Obituary of Glenna Kelley

Glenna Kelley, age 88, resident of Coweta passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, November 28, 2015 at Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK surrounded by her family. Glenna was born on June 5, 1927 to George and Angeline (Baker) Cooper in Redrock, AR. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She and Carl E. Kelley were married on August 13, 1946 in Fort Smith, AR. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, sewing and raising her kids. Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Kelley, her parents, George and Angeline Cooper and 1 daughter, Carla Kelley. Glenna is lovingly survived by 6 children, Kathy Cox and husband, Tony of Coweta, OK, Tony Kelley of Coweta, OK, Denise Kelley of Coweta, OK, Tim Kelley and wife, Donna of Coweta, OK, Chris Kelley and wife, Teresa of Coweta, OK and William Kelley and wife, Kristin of Coweta, OK; 3 sisters Helen Martin of Bentonville, AR, Estelle Foster of Broken Arrow, OK and Teresa Lundy of Bentonville, AR; 1 brother, David Cooper of Bentonville, AR; 6 grandchildren, Logan Cox, Zachary Kelley, Katie Kelley, Ryan Kelley, KayCee Kelley and Christian Kelley; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services celebrating Glenna's life will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy in Coweta, OK with Rev. Ed Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Hoss Hopping, Joe Hopping, Alan Kelley, Calvin Kelley, Clay Kelley and George Foster.
