Obituary of Nancy Jo An Cook-Renowden

Nancy Jo An Cook-Renowden, age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, November 16, 2015 at Coweta Manor Nursing Home in Coweta, OK. Nancy was born on August 28, 1939 to Emin Jenobia and Steeney Loreet (Arnold) Cates in Tulsa, OK. She worked at Frank W. Murphy Manufacturing as an Assembly Worker for 18 years. Nancy enjoyed video recording, fishing, gardening and she enjoyed seeing her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 husbands, 1 son, Steve Garrison, 1 grandson, J.D. Wade and 5 siblings. Nancy is lovingly survived by 2 children, Greg Garrison and wife, Cheryl of Porter, OK and Shelly Petty and husband, David of Wichita, KS; 3 grandchildren; Brian Garrison of Porter, OK, Brad Garrison of Tulsa, OK and Perry Wade of Wichita, KS; 3 sisters, Ellen Morrow, Phyllis Grommet and Dorothy Cocort; a lifelong friend, Alice Johnston; 1 granddog, Annie; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A graveside service celebrating Nancy's life will be at 2 PM on Friday, November 20, 2015 at IOOF Cemetery in Hulbert, OK with Chaplain Roger Miller officiating.
