Obituary of Fern Elizabeth Jackson

Fern Elizabeth (Weese) Jackson, age 79, resident of Coweta passed away on Friday morning, November 13, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Fern was born on September 23, 1936 to Charles Ward and Florence (Cue) Weese in Jenks, OK. She and L.K. Jackson were united in marriage and he preceded her in death in 1988. Fern worked at Ram-Seco, Inc. as a Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. She enjoyed working in the yard and her house, visiting with people, going to War Eagle, AR and traveling with her 2 sisters, floral design work and she loved spending time with her grandkids. Fern was preceded in death by her husband, L.K. Jackson, her parents, Charles Ward and Florence Weese, her son, Devian Lee Flores, her brother, Alonza Weese and a grandson, Jared Flores. Fern is lovingly survived by 5 children, Donald Ray Flores and wife, Shannon of Coweta, OK, Charles Delroy Flores and wife, Fonda of Coweta, OK, Louis Dwight Flores and wife, Patricia of Coweta, OK, Lawrence Kenneth "PeeWee" Jackson, II and wife, Kalea of Coweta, OK and Larry Wayne Jackson and wife, Jeannie of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 brother, Raymond Weese and wife, Debbie of Wagoner, OK; 2 sisters, Charlene Odell Navarre and husband, Mark of Palm Springs, CA and Patsy Wolf and husband, Orvel of Mounds, OK; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM. Funeral services celebrating Fern's life will be at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Randy Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, OK. Pallbearers are Jason Flores, Nicholas Flores, Clayton Flores, Tyler Flores, Will Jackson, DoLee Wolf and Dexter Wolf.
