Pastor Larry and family, I am sincerely sorry for your great loss. I know Brother Tom Duncan will be missed greatly. I was blessed often and greatly by the Voice of Salvation under Brother Tom Duncan. He was a pioneer in our movement, the Church of God of Prophecy. I was also blessed and have fond memories as pastor of his mother and father at the Erin Church of God of Prophecy in the mid-seventies. His mother and father were a great blessing to me there. Sister Kate was faithful in praying and supporting the church and your grandfather, Russell, helped me do some upgrading and beautifying the inner sanctuary while I was there. I also remember the year(s) we attended church camp at Camp Hickory Hills, in Madison, Tennessee. One year was especially memorable when the Lord healed you of a serious bone disease in one of your hips. Your family is a rock in our movement. Karen and I love all of you. May God be with you during this time of loss. We look forward to being together with Brother Tom and many others who have gone to be with Jesus. We will continue to remember you and your family in prayer.

I am truly blessed to have known such a great Christian man as Brother Tom Duncan, my parents, H. E. and Lula Murray were among the first ones to have a recording made for the Broadcast Record Club in Cleveland, TN.
I saw Brother Tom a few years back at the Mall in Cleveland and we talked about how that my Mother's voice was so loud that she had to stand behind my Dad a short distance in order not to over power my Dad's.
I pray that you and your family will be comforted and blessed by the many memories you have of your Dad. He has a great legacy that will live on in your hearts and those who were privileged to know him.

We extend our deepest condolences.
Larry, your dad was an inspirational figure, evidenced by his pioneering work in the GOGOP. He not only inspired us by his work, he also made us proud of the church. May the family be comforted by his love and labor for the Lord as well as his legacy in the COGOP. .

It was an honor and a privilege to work with your Dad in the early 80's Communications ministry in Wisconsin. Seeing him at the Assembly and working on broadcasting placements was a special blessing. I still have 33 rpm records from the record club. The Lord strengthen and comfort you all at this time of separation, but we all rejoice that the Jesus your Dad was instrumental in communicating his message to the world received him to heaven. Your Dad was a special man, who God utilized with his special talents in the world of broadcasting and a minister of helps in his local church as well!

Tom Duncan was a sweet, kind, GODLY man. His Christan service was often low-key, for he wanted no earthly praise. But those who knew him were often the recipient of his kind deeds and dear smiles. It was such an honor to have him and Maxine in my life for the short length of time I knew them. With prayers for Larry and the family. Heaven is sweeter.
