Obituary of Allen J. Campbell

Allen J. Campbell, age 78, lifelong resident of Coweta passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home in Coweta, OK. Allen was born on March 28, 1937 in Coweta, OK and was the son of Ernest and Viola Mae (Cooper) Campbell. He and Judith Jan Campbell were married on June 29, 1956 in Broken Arrow, OK. Allen worked at TESCO Cable Company as Shop Supervisor and then he owned A&M Seismic Cable Company until he retired. He was a member of the North American Gun Club Association. Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Jan Campbell in 2012 and his parents, Ernest and Viola Mae Campbell. Allen is lovingly survived by 3 children, Patricia Jackson and husband, Jeff, of Singapore, Douglas Campbell and wife, Laurie, of Indiana and Latresha Parker and husband, Kenneth, of Houston, TX; 5 brothers, Tommy Campbell and wife, Delaya, of Broken Arrow, OK, Donald Campbell of Coweta, OK, Bobby Campbell and wife, Carolyn, of Coweta, OK, Jerry Campbell and wife, Anita, of Haskell, OK and Ronnie Campbell of Oneta, OK; 1 sister, Dorothy Garner and husband, Charles, of Coweta, OK; 6 grandchildren, Kathryn Linton, Rachel Jackson, Christopher Campbell, Lauren Parker, Abigail Parker and Matthew Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 PM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the funeral home with the family being present from 6-8 PM . Funeral services celebrating Allen's life will be at 10 AM on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Dean Robison officiating. Burial will follow in Shahan Cemetery in Coweta, OK. Pallbearers are Kenneth Parker, Jeff Jackson, Brent Campbell, David Campbell, Darren Campbell and Dustin Campbell.
