Obituary of Ronice Wayne Gray

Ronice Wayne Gray, age 67, resident of Porter, Okla. passed away on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2015 at Haskell Care Center in Haskell, Okla. Ronice was born on September 18, 1947 to Otto Houston and Lena (Duell) Gray in Gadsden, Ala. On November 24, 1970, he and Vicki Agee were married in Miami, Okla and she preceded him in death on March 3, 2012. Ronice worked at Baker Oil Tools in Broken Arrow, Okla. for 25 years until he retired in 2009. In 2008, Ronice and Vicki moved to the Porter area from Haskell. Ronice was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Haskell. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Ronice was preceded in death by his wife, Vicki Gray, his parents, 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Ronice is survived by his daughter, Misty Hyre and husband, Faron, of Fort Worth, Tex.; his son, Michael Gray and wife, Becky, of Coweta, Okla.; 3 sisters, Marlene Slape of Coweta, Okla., Dorothy Lawrence of Blytheville, Ark. and Anna Treadway and husband, James, of Blytheville, Ark.; 2 brothers, Charles Gray and wife, Faye, of Forsyth, Ga. and Donald Gray and wife, Gloria, of Covington, Ga.; 4 grandchildren, Josh, Addison, Avery and Brookelyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, June 11, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM. Funeral services celebrating Ronice's life will be at 10 AM on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Haskell, Okla. with Rev. Lynn Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Haskell Cemetery in Haskell, Okla. Pallbearers are Roger Man, Dave Pempleton, Dale Peck, Therman Ray, Josh Slape and Joseph Slape.
