Obituary of Jackie Dale Austin

Jackie Dale Austin, Jr., age 47, resident of Coweta passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in Coweta, OK. Jackie was born on June 10, 1967 to Jackie Dale and Carolyn (Swarer) Austin. He was a 1985 graduate of Coweta High School. Jackie worked as a trim carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. Jackie was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Dale Austin and his grandparents. Jackie is survived by his mother, Carolyn Austin of Coweta, OK; 3 children, Luke Daniel Austin, Christian Keith Austin and Eva Lamb; 3 sisters, Vicki Shaw and husband, Walter, of Coweta, OK, Lisa McCoy of Pryor, OK and Tammy Dorr and husband, Donald, of Mazie, OK; 1 aunt, Joyce Vandevort; 2 uncles, Buddy Taylor and Aflred Austin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM to 8 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Services celebrating Jackie's life will be at 2 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Cedar Ridge Christian Church in Coweta, OK with Pastor Darrell Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery in Coweta. Pallbearers are David Vandevort, Greg Taylor, Justin Shaw, Larry Cearley, Russell Heimbach, Timmy Kelley and Matt Hurst. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Holmes, Billy Shaw, B.J. Moon, Mac Poindexter and Austin Poindexter.
