Obituary of Mary Louise Douglas

Mary Louise Douglas, age 72, resident of Coweta passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 18, 2015 at her home in Coweta, OK. She was born on October 23, 1942 to Lawrence and Wilma (Miller) Umber in Woodward, OK. Mary was a teacher in Oregon for 30 years until she retired. She married Gary Douglas on July 1, 1989 in Garden City, KS. They moved to Montana where thy lived for many years before relocating to Coweta, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Lawrence Douglas on March 1, 2015 and her parents, Lawrence and Wilma Umber. Mary is survived by her daughter, Ann Olson and husband, Pete, of Broken Arrow, OK; her step-son, Brian Douglas and wife, Renee, of Albuquerque, NM; her brother, Loyd Umber and wife, Charlotte, of Sand Springs, OK; and numerous other relatives. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. A graveside service for Mary will be at 11 AM on Friday, March 27, 2015 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK.
