I loved Sue very much and very thankful for the time I got to spend with her over the last few years. It is amazing to me how much the world has changed since she was born almost 100 yrs ago, it was always so interesting to listen to her tell about things she had witnessed. From attending an Indian boarding school, to being a World War 2 vet, to her part in the Native American Rights movement of the 70's. She was one of the smartest people I have ever known. I loved listening to her stories of her days antiquing, she often said this was the happiest time of her life. She was so ready to go home. This Christmas she had me help her decide which items of hers to give to each family member. She loved each of you more than you all know. I think she knew her time on this earth was coming to an end and she was ready. She told me several times that when she was lonely she would imagine Jesus with her and feel better. I know she is now with Him now in reality, even though she could certainly be ornery I will miss her terribly, but happy for her to be where she was longing to be and looking forward to that day when we can be together again. You all are in my prayers. Lea Ann Friend
