Alma Lea was always in the background of our football team, we never heard her talk to the team but we knew she was around and always wanted us to do better. Looking at the scrapbooks that she compiled was quite a treat to go back all those years ago and remember the good times we had in 1956 and 1957. Alma Lea would always have time to talk to anyone and usually you felt better about yourself after the conversion. I was gone for a number of years but when I came home again she was the some old Alma Lee. I really don't know how much she helped Ray in coaching but I would imagine she was always their for advice and I bet he listed. We will miss her and I am sure their two sons will miss her most of all. She will be missed by our entire community that she was always a part of, she was not just a coaches wife but a silent player on our team.
