Obituary of Walker Berry Nelson

Walker "Berry" Nelson, Jr. of Coweta, OK, age 60, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at his home in Coweta, OK. Berry was born on January 6, 1953 in Tulsa, OK and was the son of Walker Berry Nelson, Sr. and Velda Jo Sullenger. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Berry worked as a Crane Operator at the Ford Glass Plant in Tulsa, OK for 30 years. He was a jokester and was a great dad and friend. Berry enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, guns, working in the yard, going to the casino and collecting coins. Berry is survived by his daughter, Holly Cantrell & companion, Gary Fields, of Coweta, OK; his brother, Roger Nelson & wife, Judy, of Sand Springs, OK; 5 grandchildren, Bradley Fields, Sarah Marzano, Samantha Marzano, Dakkota Cantrell and Nicholas Marzano; 1 great grandchild, Zirah Marzano; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Berry was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Larry & Gary and his wife, Debbie Nelson. Memorial services for Berry will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, OK with Pastor Allan Swinson officiating.
