Obituary of Barbara Serrano
Barbara “Bobbie” Serrano, age 68, of Wagoner, Oklahoma departed this life on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 24, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Osker W. and Rachel (Coe) Sisco. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother to her family. She received her education at the Thomas School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bobbie and Luis “Mike” Serrano were married April 1979 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. Bobbie worked as a horticulturist at Mid Western Nursery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma for eleven and a half years. She also worked as a cook at Sarty’s Restaurant in Coweta, Oklahoma for three years. Her hobbies included working puzzles, drawing, crocheting, playing bingo, cooking, gardening, and collecting old jewelry. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, one son, and one sister. Bobbie is survived by her husband, Mike of the home; her two sons, Perry James Gregory and his wife, Judy, of Vian, Oklahoma and Joey Dale Gregory of Wagoner, Oklahoma; her three daughters, Marie Moss and her husband, Floyd, of Vian, Oklahoma, Mary Ann Gregory, and Sharon Kaye Gregory, both of Hulbert, Oklahoma; her two brothers, Thomas Sisco and his wife, Belle, and David Sisco and his wife, Pat, all of Wagoner, Oklahoma; one sister, Ellen Kilgore and her husband, Will, of Coweta, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta, Oklahoma with Pastor Jean Campbell officiating.
