Obituary of Joyce Watson

Joyce Virginia Watson, age 72, of Coweta entered eternal life on Monday, February 2, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital South in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on August 17, 1936 in Longrun, Missouri to Albert M. and Lucille (Hash) Wolfe. Joyce was a loving, caring mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother to her family. She attended school in Gainesville, Missouri. In 1954, she moved from Missouri to Oklahoma. On September 6, 1955, she and Bobby Gene Sisney were united in marriage in Wagoner County and they later divorced. Then, Joyce and Fred Watson were united in marriage on March 2, 1970 in Wagoner County and he preceded her in death in 1973. Joyce worked for American Airlines Canteen for 10 years until her retirement. Her hobbies included fishing, traveling, music, playing bingo, working puzzles, and dogs. Joyce will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Joyce was preceded in death by her father, her 2 husbands, Bob Sisney and Fred Watson, 1 son, Michael Sisney, and companion, James “Pete” Cagle. Joyce is lovingly survived by her son, Bobby Sisney and his wife, Debi, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her 4 daughters, Cheryl Blanks and her husband, Warren, of Salem, Oregon, Judy Richardson and her husband, James, of Willis, Texas, Frances Watson of Fort Worth, Texas and Angela Avant and her husband, Ray, of Cresson, Texas; her mother, Lucille Wolfe of Coweta, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Jesse Wolfe of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Howard Wolfe of Catoosa, Oklahoma and Hervil “Bud” Wolfe of Wagoner, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Bonnie Hagewood of Theodosia, Missouri, Betty Chalakee and Debbie Falcon, both of Coweta, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Stone officiating.
