Obituary of Michael Andrew Lasswell

Michael Andrew Lasswell of Broken Arrow, OK, age 55, a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 at his home in Broken Arrow, OK. Michael was born on December 19, 1957 in Broken Arrow, OK and was the son of Robert Lee and Helen Maxine (Hayworth) Lasswell. He and Denise Elaine Allmendinger were married on August 25, 1995 in Eureka Springs, AR. Michael worked as a self-employed Counter top Installer since he was 18 years old. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and in the recent years, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Michael is survived by his wife, Denise Lasswell of the home in Broken Arrow, OK; his three daughters, Jennifer Chandler & husband, Brad, of Broken Arrow, OK, Misty Singleton & husband, Jon, of Coweta, OK and Michell Murphy & husband, Mitchell, of Coweta, OK; one brother, Bob Lasswell & wife, Cara, of Neosho, MO; 4 grandchildren, Brooklyn Singleton, McKenzie Murphy, Kennedy Singleton and Colton Murphy; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Helen Maxine Lasswell, one sister, Diana and his step-mom, Barb Lasswell. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, December 12, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 pm Friday, December 13, 2013 at Coweta Assembly of God in Coweta, OK with Pastor Mike Hutsell officiating. Pallbearers are Bob Lasswell, Brad Chandler, Jim Causey, John Terry, Jon Singleton, Ken George, Mitchell Murphy and Steve Wisely.
