Obituary of Floyd Masker
Floyd (Clint) Masker left this earthly life on July 15, 2013 to spend eternity with his wife Eleanor. He passed quietly at home with family at his side. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved this gentle man. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 am Mon. July 22, 2013 At Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, Ok. Clint was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since his baptism in 1957 and was ordained a High Priest in 1978. Clint married his wife the first time on Dec. 12, 1950 and was sealed to her and their children in the Los Angeles Temple on Sept. 19, 1963. Clint was a Marine who fought during WW11 stationed in China for two tours and one tour on the island of Guam. He retired as a Detective from San Bernardino Co. Ca. Sheriff’s Dept. and was a carpenter by trade and hobby. He was a loyal and devoted husband and father whose love of family actually surpassed his love of traveling. Dad loved his road trips to the end. Clint is preceded in Death by his parents Floyd D. Masker and Emma Viola Drew/Masker, and brother Dwayne, of Ontario, Ca., sister Ruby and husband Burl Harwood of Aurora, Ar., Eleanor his wife of 53 years prior to her death in 2003, and his oldest son Richard of Coer d Lane, Id. He is survived by his son William (Bill) his wife Sharon of Missoula, Mt. Son Clifford (Bud) of Wesley, Ar. Daughter Patricia (Pat) and partner Dante Sanders of Wagoner area Ok. Grandchildren Joshua Denison, Kathryn Ridenour, Curtis Masker of Wagoner area, Roxanne Sharp of Fresno, Ca., Great Grandchildren Clinton Wayne and Krista Dawn Denison, Tayler Grace Scott, and Dylan Sharp. He is also survived by two sisters Ruth Martin of Bellingham, Wa., Jean Walker of Bentonville, Ar. and numerous nieces and nephews.
