Obituary of Donna Sheridan
Donna Jean Sheridan of Coweta, age 51, a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was born on January 27, 1960 in Tulsa, OK to her parents, Ralph Gaylord and Ermil Imogene (Snelson) Simons. Donna was a 1978 graduate of Coweta High School. Donna and Jeff Sheridan were married on May 26, 1978 in Coweta, OK. She worked for Union Public Schools as an administrative assistant for numerous years. Donna attended the Coweta Assembly of God with her family. Her family was precious to her, and you would always find a smile on her face when she was with her grandchildren. She was an avid reader with excellent taste in books. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time in the mountains. Donna is lovingly survived by her husband of 33 years, Jeff Sheridan of the home; her four children, Amanda Lee Emery and her husband, Rob, of Porter, Sarah Jean Sinclair and her husband, Leeland, of Denver, CO, Jessica Ann Sanders and her husband, Tyler, of Haskell and Joseph Jackson Sheridan of the home; her two sisters, Beth Bias and her husband, Randy, of Coweta and Dee Dee Edwards and her husband, Jimmy, of Broken Arrow; her five grandchildren, Madelyn Emery, Mackenzie Emery, Molly Emery, Weston Sanders and Gracie Sanders; her parents-in-law, Jack and Joann Sheridan of Haskell; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Simons. A memorial service in memory of Donna will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Coweta Assembly of God, 29707 E. State Highway 51, Coweta, OK 74429. Pastor Gary Rogers and Pastor Steve Lee will officiate the service. Honorary Pallbearers are Jimmy Edwards, Randy Bias, Rob Emery, Leeland Sinclair and Tyler Sanders.
