Obituary of Hallie Banner
Hallie Denise Banner, of Coweta, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday evening, July 8, 2011 at a hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 52 years and 3 months. Hallie was born on April 8, 1959 in Wagoner, OK to her parents, George Wheeler and Wanda Irene (Maltbie) Morris. She and Douglas Robert Banner were married on May 25, 1985 in Tahlequah, OK. Hallie was a graphic artist manager and co-founder of M.E.I. Labels in Catoosa, OK. She was a member of the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy. Hallie was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a very talented artist and enjoyed scrapbooking, crocheting, knitting, photography and she loved spending time with her family. Hallie is lovingly survived by her husband, Doug Banner of the home; her daughter, Meagan Banner and her fiancé, Chase Price, of Coweta; her mother, Wanda Morris of Coweta; her brothers, George Dean Morris and wife, Pam, of Coweta, Tony Morris and his wife, Annette, of Coweta and Ivan Morris of Wagoner; her grandson, Braxton Oakley Banner; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Hallie was preceded in death by her father and her maternal and paternal grandparents. A funeral service for Hallie will be at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at the Coweta Church of God of Prophecy, 123 W. Sycamore St., Coweta, OK 74429.
